- How long does it take to ship a vehicle?

o The average shipping time depends on the distance.  The time frame breaks down to pick-up window and delivery time:

§ The pick-up window is generally within a week from the date the vehicle is ready to be shipped (see First Available Date).  Be

aware that it might take longer to get a carrier assigned if the pick-up location is in a rural or remote location.

§ The delivery time after pick-up depends on the distance.  For a timeframe on distance please see “What can I expect in regards

to transit time?”

- What is “First Available Date?”

o The date the vehicle is ready to be loaded is the First Available Date.  This is not, however, necessarily the exact pick-up date. 

Depending on truck availability at that particular time we may be able to assign a carrier to load your vehicle on your First Available

Date, but if not, we will pick it up within our usual window of 1 week, starting from your First Available Date.  For more details see pick-

- What can I expect in regards to transit time?

- How will I know when my pick-up and delivery times are?

o After a carrier has been dispatched we will email you a Dispatch Notification with the estimated pick-up date along with the carrier’s

phone number.  Regarding the delivery time, the carrier usually calls a couple of hours ahead of time to notify you of his estimated time

of arrival at your address.  Special arrangements could be made upon request.

- Can you guarantee a delivery date and time?

o Yes we can.  We will require information regarding whether you need your vehicle by a certain date or on a certain date.  Based on your

criteria, we can get you a customized quote.

- How do I pay for my vehicle shipment?

o We require a small deposit up front before we can schedule a carrier to dispatch.  We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.  The

remaining balance you will pay, directly to the carrier, with cash or certified funds at the time of delivery.

- Can you guarantee a pick-up date and time?

o Yes we can.  We will require information regarding your pick-up window and whether you need a car picked up by a specific date or on

a specific date.  We can then determine any cost associated with guaranteeing your time frame.  Please, call our office for a customized

quote if you need guaranteed pick-up or delivery date(s).

- Can I pay, in full, with my credit card?

o Yes you can.  If you wish to pay in full, please contact a Dedicated Vehicle Transport shipping specialist for the full spectrum of payment

options.  A processing fee of 10%-20% may be incurred for processing.

- What is door-to-door vehicle transport?

o This means that the carrier dispatched for your load will pick up the vehicle and drop it off as close to your home as they can legally and

safely get.  Many cities have restrictions on large trucks that prohibit them from driving into some residential areas.  Transport trucks are

enormous and need lots of room to maneuver and turn around, so if access to your home is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging

trees, speed bumps or tight turns, the driver may ask that you meet the truck at a large parking lot nearby such as a grocery store.  You

will receive a call directly from the carrier if these alternate arrangements are necessary.

- Is the booking deposit refundable?

o If you cancel your order prior to the assignment of a carrier, the deposit will be refunded in full.  However, if you decide to cancel your

order after a carrier has been assigned (see Paragraph 10 of how we notify Customer) to that order the deposit will NOT be refunded.
